This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:*Providing one-to-one and small group support.
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
*Encouraging pupil independence and confidence.
*Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement.
*Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will:*Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (preferred).
*Be patient, compassionate and resilient.
*Have excellent communication skills.
*Be committed to helping every child succeed.
*Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
