Are you a part-qualified finance professional looking to build a career in commercial finance?
We are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a leading retail / hospitality business in Central London.
This is a great opportunity to move into a highly commercial role with real exposure to sales, margin, product performance and trading analysis, while working closely with operational teams across the business.
You’ll join a six-person Commercial Finance team, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, and play an important role in turning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insight.
Full CIMA/ACCA study support will be provided.
What you’ll be doing:
*Sales, margin and product performance analysis
*Helping produce the weekly trading pack
*Identifying key trends, risks and opportunities within trading performance
*Using advanced Excel and Power BI to turn data into meaningful commercial insight
*Working closely with operations and other non-finance stakeholders
*Supporting commercial decision-making across the business
*Assisting with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting
*Producing ad-hoc analysis for the wider Commercial Finance team
What we’re looking for:
*CIMA / ACCA studier
*At least 2 years’ experience in a finance analyst, management accounting or commercial finance role
*Strong analytical and numerical skills
*Advanced Excel - essential
*Power BI experience would be highly advantageous
*Retail, FMCG, food, hospitality or wider consumer-sector experience would be beneficial
*Confident communicator who enjoys working with non-finance stakeholders
*Proactive, commercially minded and keen to progress
