Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £85,000–£95,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London & Home Counties division. This is a great opportunity to work on high-value DfE projects and progress your career within a stable, well-respected business.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Lead commercial management across multiple projects
*Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and commercial advice
*Manage your own projects independently
*Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and change control
*Support 2-stage tenders and framework schemes
*Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial targets are met
*Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
*Tier 1 main contractor experience (essential)
*DfE project experience on schemes (essential)
*Strong background managing your own projects
*Experience with 2-stage procurement
*Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing
*HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
*RICS membership (or working towards) is beneficial
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
