Full job descriptionWe are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established food manufacturing business based in Shoreham-by-Sea. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for candidates who are reliable, motivated, and looking for long-term, full-time work. While full training is provided, previous experience in food production, manufacturing or similar environments is preferred.
As a Food Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in the creation of high-quality food products. Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing, crafting, and assembling food products using cutting, mixing, and production equipment
*Transporting products around the facility using trolleys
*Handling raw ingredients and ensuring they meet quality requirements
*Conducting product quality checks to maintain food safety standards
*Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene throughout the production area
The working hours for this role will be working either the AM Shift (6am-2pm), PM shift (2pm-10pm) or night shift (10pm-6am) The hourly rate for this role is paying between £13.14-£14.27 per hour.
