Rate: £26.17 PAYE
Hours: 07:30 - 15:30
Duration: Until November
We’re looking for an experienced Working Foreman/Woman to support the civils team on HS2. This is an all-round supervisory role, involving hands-on oversight of structures, earthworks, and general construction operations, with flexibility to cover additional areas when team members are on leave.
Key Duties
*Supervise day-to-day civils activities including structures, earthworks, drainage, and general construction tasks
*Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure works progress safely and efficiently
*Support the delivery of planned works in line with programme requirements
*Assist with daily briefings, task allocations, and on-site coordination
*Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to specifications
*Maintain communication with site management, engineers, and other supervisors
*Provide cover across multiple work fronts when team members are absent
Required Skills & Experience
*Strong all-round civils background: structures, earthworks, and general construction operations
*Valid Gold or Black CSCS
*SSSTS
*Up-to-date CV
