This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and collaborative team, supporting a broad portfolio across Professional & Management Risks and Charity business. The role sits within a fast-paced, broker-facing environment, with a strong focus on service, retention, and relationship management.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of renewals and mid-term adjustments, working closely with brokers to retain and grow business. The role offers strong exposure across multiple product lines and a high level of autonomy within underwriting authority.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and underwriting renewals and mid-term adjustments across multiple product lines
*Delivering a high level of service to brokers via Acturis, email and phone
*Proactively following up on renewals to secure and retain business
*Building strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
*Monitoring broker activity and identifying opportunities for improvement or growth
*Supporting wider team initiatives and ad hoc projects
Skills & Experience
Essential
*2+ years’ experience within underwriting or a technical broking role
*Experience in commercial insurance
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload
*Confident communicator, comfortable handling broker queries via phone and email
*Keen to continue developing technically, with support for CII qualifications
Desirable
*Financial lines experience
*Experience using Acturis
