The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available for several experienced BSL/Sign Language Specialist to join a supportive education provider in London from September 2026.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential. The successful candidates will work closely with students across a variety of curriculum areas, providing high-quality communication and learning support.
This opportunity would suit candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Further Education, schools, specialist education, residential care, supported living, or support work.
About YouWe’re keen to hear from candidates who have:
*BSL Level 4 or 6 (or equivalent)
*Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired individuals
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners
*The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Experience in any of the following roles would be highly desirable:
*BSL Interpreter
*Communication Support Worker
*Teacher of the Deaf
*Learning Support Practitioner
*Learning Support Assistant
*Specialist Support Worker
*SEND Support Worker
*Deaf Support Worker
*Teaching Assistant (BSL)
*Education Support Worker
