Full job descriptionGraduate Science Technician | September 2026An innovative secondary school in Westminster is seeking an enthusiastic Science Technician to support its successful Science department from September 2026. This is a full-time opportunity, working five days each week for approximately one term, with an excellent possibility of the placement being extended.
Ideal for a Russell Group graduate, this role offers valuable experience within a well-equipped school laboratory environment.
Role OverviewWorking as a Science Technician, you will play an important role in preparing practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment and supporting teachers in delivering engaging science education.
Responsibilities*Prepare laboratory equipment for practical lessons.
*Maintain science resources and equipment.
*Carry out stock checks and organise deliveries.
*Ensure laboratories remain safe and compliant.
*Support practical demonstrations when required.
*Dispose of materials safely and responsibly.
*Keep accurate equipment records.
Person Specification*Degree from a Russell Group University.
*Excellent organisational ability.
*Strong communication skills.
*Reliable and methodical approach.
*Passion for science and education.
