Full job descriptionThe Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation. Working closely with the CFO, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting business performance, and helping to develop a proactive and commercially focused finance function.

This position offers significant exposure across the business and would suit an ambitious finance professional seeking a broad and varied role within a collaborative environment.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
*Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
*Take ownership of P&L and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations.
*Support the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting process.
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.
*Analyse profitability, performance trends and commercial opportunities.
*Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and performance.
*Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and controls.
*Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting activities.
*Coach and support members of the wider finance team.
*Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and business initiatives.

You Will Be/Have:
*Experience in a Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role.
*Strong management accounting, month-end and financial reporting experience.
*Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capabilities.
*Experience managing both P&L and balance sheet reporting.
*Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems, with Sage 200 experience advantageous.
*Qualified, part-qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting colleagues within a finance team.
*A proactive and hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge constructively.
*The ambition to take on increasing responsibility as your career progresses.
