Full job descriptionWe’re working with a growing theatre and entertainment company on an exciting interim opportunity for a PQ or newly qualified accountant to join their productions finance team.
Responsibilities:
*Produce and issue daily sales reports for theatrical productions across the UK and internationally, providing key insight to senior management
*Respond to ad-hoc queries and develop bespoke sales reports for new productions
*Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and technology, reducing manual intervention
*Develop and maintain a sales database to identify trends and support more accurate production forecasting and budgeting
*Work closely with the wider finance and production teams to ensure sales data is accurate, timely and commercially useful
Requirements:*Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
*Experience producing financial or management reports
*Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify trends and communicate insights clearly
*An interest in process improvement, automation and using technology to improve reporting
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
*Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
*Experience within theatre, entertainment, media or another fast-paced creative environment would be advantageous
