Job Description:
Full job descriptionJustice Support Mentor
Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2027
Remote-based with regular on-site visits across North West England
£25,664 + Excellent Benefits
LHH is supporting a community-focused organisation in recruiting a compassionate and motivated Justice Support Mentor to work with adults preparing for release from prison and those transitioning back into the community.
This role is primarily remote; however, it requires regular, weekly travel to conduct on-site visits within prisons and community settings, supporting individuals both before and after release. You will work directly with people on probation and those leaving the prison system, building trusted relationships, and providing consistent, one-to-one support.
You’ll help individuals overcome barriers such as financial difficulties, accessing services, and reintegrating into society, empowering them to move towards a more positive and stable future.
Working closely with the justice system, you will manage your own caseload, attend in-person meetings, and take a person-centred approach to support individuals in identifying and achieving their goals.
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient, self-motivated, and passionate about making a real difference. Experience supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable, and the ability to travel regularly is essential.
If you’re ready for a rewarding role where every day has purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
