ABOUT THE CLIENT
We’re recruiting for an established organisation delivering specialist services across customer sites.
They’re looking for experienced, safety-focused HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers who take pride in doing things properly and are comfortable working within a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
THE BENEFITS

*Monday-Friday working
*Flexitime
*Permanent, full-time opportunity
*Varied driving and site-based responsibilities
THE HGV CLASS 1 & CLASS 2 DRIVER ROLE
You’ll be responsible for collecting and delivering hazardous and non-hazardous waste across customer sites.
*Operate HGV Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
*Operate road and vacuum tankers
*Support loaders while vehicles are stationary
*Manage routes against time-critical deadlines
*Carry out daily vehicle checks
*Report defects accurately
*Work within safety regulations and legal driving hours
*Provide a professional service to customers
HGV CLASS 1 & CLASS 2 DRIVER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
*Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 and Class 2 driving experience
*Valid HGV licence
*Valid CPC card
*Digital Tachograph card
*ADR licence
*Road tanker and vacuum tanker experience
*Strong problem-solving ability
*Ability to work independently
*Comfortable working in all weather conditions
*Comfortable undertaking a physically demanding role
*Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Military drivers with the relevant civilian licences and tanker experience are strongly encouraged to apply, alongside experienced civilian HGV professionals.
