People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Paisley.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a long-term role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Parcel Sorter, Picker Packer, or Distribution Operative.
Rates of Pay:
*£12.71 per hour
*Weekly pay every Friday
*Overtime may be available depending on site requirements
Shift Pattern:
*Tuesday to Saturday
*05:00 start
*Ongoing work available
*Start date: Imminent
*Applicants must be fully available to work the above shift pattern on an ongoing basis

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will work:
*Loading and unloading parcels and freight
*Sorting parcels accurately for dispatch
*Moving goods safely around the warehouse
*Preparing items for delivery routes
*Manual handling, including lifting, bending, and moving stock
*Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
*Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
*Following all site health and safety procedures
*Supporting the wider warehouse team where required
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:
*Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, loading, unloading, or distribution experience is desirable
*Be comfortable conducting manual handling operations
*Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
*Reliable, punctual, and committed to ongoing work
*Good attention to detail
*Able to follow instructions and site processes
*Own transport due to the 05:00 start time
*Available to work Tuesday to Saturday on an ongoing basis
Training:
*Registration and compliance process completed through People Solutions prior to start date
*Ongoing support from the People Solutions recruitment team
