Pertemps Milton Keynes are recruiting an experienced HGV1 Driver (Nights Out) for our client based in Milton Keynes.
If your idea of a good shift is covering some miles, parking up for the night and not being mistaken for a warehouse operative, you’ll fit right in here.

07:00 Starts
1-4 Nights Out Per Week
£18.50 Per Hour
£25 Night Out Allowance
Weekly Pay
No Handball
Long Distance Runs
Immediate Start Available
Ongoing Work
WHAT’S THE JOB?
This is proper driving work.
You’ll be completing business-to-business deliveries across the UK, typically making 2-3 drops per day.
No store deliveries.
No dragging pallets around.
No turning up expecting to drive and ending up auditioning for Britain’s Strongest Man.
Just straightforward HGV1 work, long-distance runs and nights out.
Your Typical Week:
2-3 deliveries per day
Long-distance runs
1-4 nights out per week
Monday to Friday working pattern
Average 9-hour shifts
Plenty of motorway miles
The kind of work where you can get settled in, crack on with the job and enjoy being behind the wheel.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Valid HGV1 (C+E) Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years’ HGV1 experience
Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations
No more than 6 penalty points
Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
Happy with regular nights out
