Full job descriptionHybrid working: 3 days in office
Car launches, press events, roadshows, incentive travel, experiential retail. The full spread of formats, across automotive and tech brands the industry envies. An Events Manager role where the work is high-profile from day one and the structure is flat enough to feel it.
- Personalised career development plan and promote-from-within culture
- 25 days holiday plus 4 paid volunteer days annually
- Health cover and enhanced pension
- Discretionary bonus of approximately 5% of base salary, revenue-linked
- TOIL for weekend working; flexible start and finish times
- Mileage and hire car covered for all event travel
The Company
A boutique full-service marketing and events agency with long-standing clients across automotive and tech, this is a place where the events team genuinely drives the business. The structure is flat, the culture is practical, and career progression here comes with evidence behind it: internal promotion is the norm, not the exception.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Manager owns the full lifecycle of between 15 and 25 events per year, spanning budgets from £25,000 to over £1 million, across formats that include roadshows, retail activations, press events, senior dinners, tradeshows and incentive travel.
- End-to-end delivery of events across logistics, timelines, suppliers and on-site execution
- Own the delegate journey from invitation through to post-event follow-up
- Build and manage registration platforms and event websites
- Brief and direct freelancers and event crew on site
- Manage budgets, documentation and supplier relationships across multiple live projects
- Progress into ownership of roadshow and retail experiential activity as confidence builds
The Candidate
The right fit for this Events Manager role is someone who has delivered events end-to-end and is ready to own a varied slate independently. You will be comfortable across logistics, supplier management, budgeting and timelines, and you will bring particular strength to delegate management, ideally with hands-on experience of registration platforms and delegate management systems.
Agency-side experience is beneficial but not essential, as is familiarity with automotive or tech brands, experiential or retail activations, or project management and CRM tools. What matters most is appetite for variety, a practical problem-solving instinct and the drive to grow quickly in an Events Manager role that will expand with you.
Structured development, a results-linked bonus, health cover, enhanced pension and high-profile work across global brands all come with the package. First interviews for the Events Manager are already in the diary, so submit your application and let’s talk before the position moves on.
