The Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Inspire students to develop an understanding of both human and physical geography
*Encourage critical thinking and awareness of global issues and environmental challenges
*Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning needs
*Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*Contribute to departmental initiatives and the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Have experience teaching Geography within UK secondary schools
*Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
*Are committed to raising attainment and improving outcomes for students
*Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour and engagement
*Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
*Have a genuine passion for Geography and education
