The Role
*Deliver engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Foster a love of reading, writing and literature
*Support students in developing strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills
*Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities
*Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Contribute to the wider success of the English department and school community
The Ideal Candidate
*Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*Have experience teaching English Language and Literature within UK secondary schools
*Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
*Are committed to raising attainment and improving student outcomes
*Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
*Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
*Have a genuine passion for English and education
