Maintenance Engineer – AberdeenAre you an experienced Engineer looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and well-established manufacturing environment?
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team at a busy manufacturing site in Aberdeen.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a hands-on role, working across a range of production machinery while helping to keep the site running safely, efficiently and reliably.
You’ll be joining a positive engineering team where teamwork, communication and mutual respect are at the heart of the working environment.
The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production machinery and site equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

*Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding and repairs.

*Completing reactive and corrective maintenance.

*Supporting both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.

*Supporting continuous improvement and engineering improvement projects.

*Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.

*Ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained safely and efficiently.

*Supporting the reliability and performance of production equipment.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on engineering role where your experience and technical skills will have a direct impact on site performance.
Sector: Factory ManufacturingRequirementsEssential:
*A recognised Engineering qualification – Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent.

*Previous experience working as an Engineer within an industrial, manufacturing or similar environment.

Desirable:
*Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.

*Experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.

*Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

*Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.

*Ability to fault find using PLC inputs and outputs.

*Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

*Engineering experience gained within the Armed Forces is also welcomed.
