Full job descriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.


Summary of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter role
Salary: £40,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm, Friday 8.15am-1.45pm
Responsibilities of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter
*De-contamination of pump units
*Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
*Assemble and test pumps
*Identify spare parts required from drawings
*Mechanical measurement of components and critical dimensions
*Diesel pump set repair and maintenance
Requirements for a successful Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter
*Experience in working with Diesel Pump Sets
*CSCS card – Desirable
*Confined Space training – Desirable
*Overhead crane, lifting and slinging operator license – Desirable
*Water Hygiene qualified – Desirable
*Full driving license
*Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship or similar or time served
*Experience in Electric Motor & Control Equipment
*Strong fault-finding skills, ideally with pumps and rotating equipment
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
