London | Hybrid
Up to £55,000 + Benefits
We’re working with a large international organisation looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad role supporting European financial operations, with responsibility for accurate financial reporting, statutory accounting, group consolidation and audit.
Key responsibilities:
*Supporting monthly and year-end financial close
*Preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations
*Producing analysis and reports for senior stakeholders
*Preparing quarterly and annual group consolidation reporting
*Taking responsibility for the annual statutory audit
*Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
*Providing technical accounting advice across the business
*Supporting finance system enhancements and process improvements
*Strengthening financial controls across accounting processes
*Assisting with ad hoc finance projects
About you:
*ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualified or part-qualified
*3–5 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience
*Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
*Good understanding of statutory accounting and IFRS
*Confident Excel user
*Able to communicate effectively with operational and senior stakeholders
*Previous supervisory or people-management experience would be beneficial
