Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, a respected boutique financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Credit Research Analyst to join their London based team. If you have a strong academic background in finance and a knack for conducting thorough and accurate credit research, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
*Conducting in-depth analysis of companies’ financial statements and creditworthiness.
*Evaluating credit risks and making recommendations based on the analysis.
*Monitoring economic trends and market developments that may impact credit portfolios.
*Collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared.
*Preparing detailed reports and presentations on credit research findings.
*Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practises.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
*Proven experience as a Credit Research Analyst or similar role.
*Prior experience in High Yield, Illiquid or Distressed Debt.
*Strong knowledge of financial modelling and analysis tools.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
*Strong communication and presentation skills.
