Job Description:
Full job descriptionDue to expansion, an experienced Practice Trained Senior Accountant is sought by a well-established firm Accountants based near the Kent/Southeast London border. You will be responsible for your portfolio of clients and have proven experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
*Preparation of limited company, partnership, and sole trader accounts
*Tax computations
*Training/supervising junior members of staff
*Preparation of Management Accounts / Year-End accounts
*Preparation of VAT returns
*Liaison with HMRC.
Requirements of the Senior Accountant:
*Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a strong track record working for an Accountancy Practice
*Exposure to either Xero, Sage Line 50 or QuickBooks is desirable, but possessing good MS Excel skills is essential
*First-rate interpersonal/communication skills.
