Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum plus company vehicle

We are partnering with a premier property developer and manager based in Birmingham to recruit a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join their in-house maintenance team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality reactive and proactive joinery and general maintenance across a portfolio of residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out reactive maintenance repairs and planned proactive maintenance across residential sites in Birmingham.
*Perform high-standard joinery tasks, including door hanging, lock replacements, kitchen and cabinetry repairs, flooring, and window framing.
*Diagnose maintenance issues quickly on-site and deliver durable, high-quality fixes.
*Complete general maintenance and minor multi-trade repairs as required to ensure properties remain in optimal condition.
*Ensure all work is completed safely, cleanly, and with minimal disruption to residents.
Candidate Requirements
*Essential: Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with hands-on experience in residential maintenance (both reactive and proactive).
*Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery, or time-served equivalent experience.
*Multi-trade maintenance skills are highly desirable.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Professional demeanor, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Salary & Working Structure
*Competitive salary of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
*Full-time, on-site role across residential properties in the Birmingham area and across the UK.
