Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:30pmThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Support Manager to join a leading law firm in London. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will lead and develop the Legal Support function, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to Partners, fee earners and clients.
You will manage a team of approximately 30 legal support professionals, working closely with HR and senior stakeholders across the firm.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, manage and develop the Legal Support team, promoting a positive and high-performing culture.
*Oversee the delivery and quality of legal support services across the firm.
*Manage performance, appraisals, development and employee relations in partnership with HR.
*Build strong relationships with Partners, Heads of Department and key stakeholders.
*Oversee resource allocation, workload, recruitment and workforce planning.
*Identify and implement improvements to processes, service delivery and operational efficiency.
*Support change management and wider Business Services projects.
*Provide coaching and development opportunities, supporting career progression and succession planning.
About You*2-3 years’ proven management or supervisory experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*Experience with performance management and employee relations.
*Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
*Proactive, adaptable and confident managing competing priorities.
*High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
