Waking Night Support WorkerDurham | £17-£20 per HourWe are recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to provide overnight support to a young person with SEND and additional needs.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the individual’s safety, wellbeing and comfort throughout the night.
Responsibilities*Maintaining a safe overnight environment.
*Providing reassurance and emotional support.
*Monitoring wellbeing throughout the shift.
*Following care and support plans.
*Completing welfare checks as required.
*Recording observations and reports.
*Supporting routines and individual needs.
*Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies.
What We’re Looking ForEssential*Previous care, support or childcare experience.
*Strong observation skills.
*Reliable and professional approach.
*Ability to work lone shifts where required.
*Strong safeguarding awareness.
Desirable*Residential childcare experience.
*SEND experience.
*Autism support experience.
*Learning disability support.
*SEMH experience.
*Medication administration training.
Compliance Requirements*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
