Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Southwark?
We are working with a range of ambitious secondary schools across Southwark seeking talented History specialists to inspire students and bring the study of the past to life. Opportunities are available across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some roles also offering the chance to teach History at Key Stage 5.

The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of historical events and their impact on society
*Encourage critical thinking, source analysis and independent research skills
*Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning needs
*Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Contribute to the wider success of the Humanities department and school community
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Have experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
*Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
*Are committed to raising attainment and improving student outcomes
*Have high expectations for achievement, behaviour and engagement
*Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
*Have a genuine passion for History and education
