REED Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious Ofsted-rated ’Good’ secondary school in North Cambridgeshire, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term position initially running until December 2026, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract from January 2027 for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across a range of humanities subjects, including History, Geography and Religious Studies, primarily at Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will play a key role in encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills, broaden their understanding of the world, and achieve their academic potential within a supportive learning environment.

Our partner school is a well-regarded Ofsted-rated ’Good’ secondary school, recognised for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to student success. The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential
*Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting
*Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a combination of these disciplines
*Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
*A passion for education and helping young people succeed
