Prospero Teaching work closely with high-achieving schools based in Bournemouth, and one of our fantastic partner schools is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to students, helping to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and learning both inside and outside the classroom.

THE ROLE
*Location: Bournemouth
*Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
*Type of work: Full Time
*Contract: Long term
*Start Date: ASAP
*Duration: Ongoing
*Minimum rate of pay: £75
*Hours: 08:30 - 3:30
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Classroom support - activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional support
*Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
*Break/Lunch time supervision
*Keeping progress reports
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
*Previous experience working in a UK School
*Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional, child-related references
