Our client, a reputable organisation in the property sector, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Operative to join their team in Cambridge. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and possess a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
Hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1 in 5 Saturdays)
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide maintenance and repairs to accommodation while managing front service desk inquiries.
*Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including:
- Refreshing paintwork
- Performing room checkouts
- General joinery tasks such as checking doors and hinges
- Cleaning and inspecting shower heads
- Addressing general room maintenance needs
*Undertake regular building patrols to identify maintenance requirements and Health & Safety risks.
*Execute silicone sealing and diagnose bathroom issues effectively.


What’s Required:
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Previous experience in Carpentry or Plumbing.
*A solid background in using a variety of maintenance tools.
*Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practises to ensure a safe working environment.
