Full job descriptionAcademics, a trusted supply agency proudly supporting local schools for over 15 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the centre of Crewe.
The RoleYou will be working full time within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
*Helping to adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needs
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
*Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
*Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who:*Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable)
*Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education
*Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Is reliable and committed to a full-time role
*Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
