Seafreight, Air & Road Import Customs Clearance.
We are working with a Global, prestigious Freight and Logistics organisation who are seeking to recruit a Late shift Customs Freight Agent to join their thriving Freight Operations.
Working on a late shift with overseas offices & customers, the hours of work will be Monday to Friday 1.00 – 9.30pm or 2.00 – 10.30pm the role is office based in Coleshill, Birmingham (B46)
We are ideally seeking candidates who have previous experience in a Customs clearances / Entries, Logistics, Freight, Supply Chain etc and who is keen to pursue a career within a Customs Brokerage role.
The duties of the Late shift Customs Freight Agent will include:
*Process UK customs entries/clearances for air, sea and road freight.
*Work with HM Customs systems and ensure shipments comply with customs regulations.
*Liaise with overseas offices and customers during the late shift.
*Support import/export freight teams.
*Handle detailed administrative work accurately.
*Learn customs brokerage procedures through their training programme.
The role will offer a comprehensive training and onboarding process, and is joining a forward thinking and progressive organisation, who offer career growth opportunities and ongoing development.
We are seeking candidates with excellent administrative skills, who can work with a high level of attention to detail, organised in their approach to work and able to embrace training.
