A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead the Facilities function at one of its regional offices (East Midlands). This is a hands-on role combining office operations, reception oversight, and facilities/H&S management, suited to an organised, personable team player with strong problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities


*Manage day-to-day office operations: supplies, post/DX, equipment, and general upkeep/repairs
*Oversee reception staff (rotas, holiday/lunch cover) and provide a professional front-of-house presence
*Manage facilities contracts (cleaning, security, catering, parking) and building projects/refurbishments
*Support GDPR/data compliance and archiving processes
*Contribute to ISO and sustainability/carbon targets
*General admin support, meeting room bookings, and maintaining office presentation standards
*Act as site H&S representative: fire risk assessments, drills, extinguisher checks, weekly alarm tests
*Conduct and document regular premises inspections, escalating issues as needed
*Manage contractor compliance on-site
*Deliver H&S induction training to new starters
*Ensure adequate first aid/fire marshal cover and overall fire safety compliance
