Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a more flexible way to work in schools across Chesterfield?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced TAs to join our team and access a range of opportunities in local primary schools. Whether you’re looking for a few days of work each month or would prefer a regular placement, we can match you with schools and roles that work around your availability.
We are particularly keen to hear from Teaching Assistants who have previous school experience, especially those with a background in primary education and experience supporting children with SEND.
What could your next role look like?Our Chesterfield team works with a wide range of schools, meaning we can offer different types of assignments depending on what you’re looking for.
You could choose to:
*Pick up day-to-day supply work when you are available
*Take on a longer-term placement in one school
*Work part-time around other commitments
*Move into a full-time position if your circumstances change
*Gain experience across different schools, year groups and settings
As a TA, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils get the most from their time in school. Depending on the placement, this could involve classroom support, working with individuals or small groups, or providing additional support to pupils with SEND.
Who are we looking for?We’d love to hear from you if you have:
*Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
*Ideally, experience as a TA within a primary school
*Experience supporting pupils with SEND
*A genuine interest in helping children learn and develop
*The confidence to work alongside teachers and other school staff
*A patient, positive and adaptable approach
*Good communication skills and a reliable attitude
A relevant TA qualification is advantageous but isn’t essential where you have strong, relevant school-based experience.
