Job overviewThe Trust Assurance Team is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team to carry out the role of Assurance Co-ordinator & Analyst .
This is an exciting time to be working at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK, with a national and international reputation both for the excellence of its services and its role in teaching and research. The Assurance team sits within the Corporate Directorate and is responsible for overseeing and advising on the Accreditation, Regulation, Assurance and Risk agenda and associated activities, (including Peer Review, Care Assurance and the Oxford Scheme for Clinical Accreditation [OxSCA]), across the Trust in conjunction with the Head of Accreditation and Regulation and the Assurance Manager.
The post holder will be:

Main duties of the jobThe Assurance Co-ordinator & Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Trust’s compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and assurance standards. The postholder will coordinate and help with the development of assurance programmes, facilitate evidence collation, and provide analytical and administrative support to the Assurance team and other departments projects. A key aspect of the role is the analysis and reporting of data to inform decision-making and demonstrate compliance with specific defined objectives. The role requires a proactive, highly organised individual with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, able to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Trust.
The Trust currently uses a range of governance, risk, compliance and information monitoring software systems. Experience of Ulysses monitoring systems is beneficial but by no means essential as full training of the system will be given to the successful applicant as part of their induction plan.
OUH Cowley, at Unipart, is our base, however hybrid/remote and flexible working options may be provided to suit the needs of the successful candidate. At OUH Cowley we offer great facilities for our staff including the art room restaurant, a café, free car parking, all on site. Meetings with clinicians may well take place on Trust hospital sites, for which there is a shuttle bus.

Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesMain Tasks and Responsibilities
Assurance, Accreditation, and Regulation
*Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of assurance programmes (e.g. Care Assure, Oxford Scheme for Clinical Accreditation (OxSCA)).
*Facilitate the collation, analysis, and interpretation of data and evidence to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., CQC, NHSE).
*Prepare and present reports, data summaries, and action plans to support assurance and regulatory requirements.
*Maintain accurate records of regulatory activity, including submissions to external bodies (e.g. CQC portal).
*Provide advice and training on risk and compliance systems and databases.
Data Analysis and Reporting
*Collect, analyse, and interpret a wide range of complex quantitative and qualitative data to support assurance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
*Produce regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
