Are you enthusiastic about supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing? A high-quality Secondary SEN school in Maidenhead is looking for a committed, motivated, and inspiring Mental Health Assistant to join their team!
As a Mental Health Assistant, the role will include:
*Providing 1:1 support for students experiencing mental health and emotional wellbeing needs
*Supporting small groups with activities that promote positive mental health and wellbeing
*Assisting students in developing coping strategies and emotional regulation skills
*Monitoring students’ wellbeing and progress
*Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
*Building positive and trusting relationships with students and staff
*Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students’ individual needs
