Job Description:
Full job descriptionI am currently assisting one of my established Law Firm clients with the search for a Revenue Controller on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Key responsibilities:
*Manage the end-to-end billing process for designated business areas.
*Produce and process draft bills in line with stakeholder requirements.
*Review and validate disbursements and chargeable costs prior to billing.
*Monitor work-in-progress balances and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely billing.
*Ensure electronic bills are submitted accurately and within client requirements.
*Respond to requests for financial information, including work-in-progress and cost updates.
*Liaise with colleagues across finance functions to support collections and resolve billing-related issues.
*Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing revenue management activities.
Key requirements:
*Previous experience in revenue control, legal billing, or professional services finance.
*Strong understanding of the end-to-end billing lifecycle.
*Experience using electronic billing platforms.
*Knowledge of finance and practice management systems.
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
*A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
