*Solve supply chain and asset logistics problems.
*Build long-term trust with retail directors.
*Negotiate high-value service contracts.
*Track pool equipment flow and loss rates.
*Coordinate with operations and customer support teams.
*Meet annual sales and retention goals.
*Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
*Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and met effectively.
*Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
*Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
*Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
*Track and report on key performance metrics for client accounts.
*Provide regular feedback and insights to improve services and products.
Profile
A successful Key Account Manager should have:
*Proven experience in account management or sales within a relevant industry.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
*Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans for growth.
*Proficiency in managing multiple accounts and prioritising tasks effectively.
*Knowledge of the industrial or manufacturing sector is advantageous.
*Confidence in negotiation and contract management.
*Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales software.
