Accounts Senior
Watford | £34,000 - £40,000 | Excellent Progression

Clark Wood is working with a growing and supportive accountancy practice in Watford looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior ready to step up, or an existing Senior looking for a varied role with greater client responsibility and long-term progression.

You’ll work across year-end accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and personal tax for a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role*Prepare year-end accounts
*Manage bookkeeping assignments using Xero
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
*Assist with personal tax returns and basic computations
*Liaise directly with clients
*Manage your own workload and assignments
*Support junior members of the team
What We’re Looking For*Around 3+ years’ accountancy practice experience
*Strong Xero experience
*Experience preparing year-end accounts
*Some Personal Tax / Self-Assessment exposure
*Good communication and client-facing skills
*AAT/ACCA qualified or studying would be beneficial but isn’t essential
