Full job descriptionCorporate Solicitor (2-5 years’)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented corporate solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing team in Glasgow.
This is a broad and varied role offering exposure to a range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, private equity and joint ventures. You will work alongside experienced lawyers on complex, high-value matters, including work with an international dimension, while developing strong client relationships and your wider commercial skill set.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to:
*Work on a broad range of corporate transactions, from M&A and investments through to joint ventures and private equity matters
*Advise a diverse client base on complex and high-value transactions
*Work closely with senior lawyers and take increasing responsibility for your own matters
*Develop strong, long-term client relationships
*Support business development and marketing initiatives
*Contribute to the development of more junior team members, including trainees
*Benefit from ongoing training, development and access to legal technology
About You
*Be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE
*Have gained solid corporate experience within a UK-based team
*Have strong drafting and analytical skills
*Be commercially minded and able to provide practical, solutions-focused advice
*Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Be ambitious, proactive and keen to develop their career within a leading corporate practice
*Have a genuine interest in working on high-quality, complex transactions
