We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming mainstream secondary school in Reading.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the school, providing an efficient and professional service to students, staff, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing reception and front-of-house duties
*Handling incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries
*Maintaining accurate student and staff records
*Producing letters, reports, and general correspondence
*Supporting attendance, admissions, and school processes
*Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
*Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school procedures
Essential Requirements:
*Previous experience working as a School Administrator within a UK school
*Experience within a mainstream secondary school setting
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or other school MIS systems
*Knowledge of attendance and safeguarding procedures
