SF Partners are supporting a loyal client who are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Heanor.
This is a full-time, site-based opportunity starting on a temporary basis, with a view to becoming permanent for the right person.
The role will support day-to-day production operations, helping to ensure stock and materials are managed effectively and the working environment remains clean, organised and safe.
Duties will include:*Receiving and dispatching goods
*Moving, handling and organising stock and materials
*Maintaining an orderly stock management process throughout the facility
*General housekeeping and keeping internal and external work areas clean and tidy
*Assisting with the correct disposal of waste
*Supporting general production and operative duties as required
*Following site health and safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate:*Previous experience within a general operative, warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment
*Experience operating forklift trucks or Overhead Cranes, valid certificates required
*Physically fit and comfortable working within a hands-on role
*Reliable, organised and able to manage multiple tasks
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*A positive attitude towards health and safety
*Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, would be advantageous
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
£12.71 – £13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
