About the RoleWe are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming school or early years setting in the Stafford (Post Code: ST16) area.
The successful candidate will support young children in their early development, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, play and thrive.
Key Responsibilities*Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
*Assist with engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
*Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
*Encourage language, communication and early literacy skills.
*Promote learning through play and practical activities.
*Observe and contribute to monitoring children’s progress.
*Support positive behaviour and children’s independence.
*Work closely with teachers, practitioners and other support staff.
*Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
*Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements*Previous experience working with children in an Early Years or school setting.
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
*Strong understanding of EYFS principles is desirable.
*Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
*Right to work in the UK.
