Full job descriptionA leading manufacturer is looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its busy distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to work for an established business, delivering high quality products to customers across the UK while providing outstanding service.
Offering £32,000 to £35,000 per annum, working hours will be Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:45pm with the depot based in High Wycombe.
Duties:
*Drive vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes safely and professionally.
*Deliver bespoke products to customers throughout the UK.
*Keep customers updated on delivery times and schedules.
*Follow daily routes and travel to various locations nationwide.
*Assist customers with the loading and unloading of products.
*Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
*Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
*Maintain compliance with DVLA regulations and road safety standards.
*Attend and participate in company training as required.
Experience/Skills:
*Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Valid Digital Tacho Card.
*Driver Qualification Card.
*Up to date Driver CPC.
*Willingness to undertake overnight stays when required.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Reliable and flexible approach to work.
