About the RoleA dependable, detail-focused Despatch Packing Assistant is required to support a busy despatch operation within a precision aerospace engineering environment. This hands-on role involves packing components, organising shipments, and carrying out part marking for aerospace traceability, where accuracy is absolutely essential.
Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities*Pack and prepare components for safe, accurate shipment
*Support and arrange shipping to meet delivery deadlines
*Carry out part marking using ink, vibro, and dot peen methods
*Ensure all marking is completed accurately and to specification
*Record, organise, and maintain stock within the department
*Monitor consumable stock levels
*Maintain a clean, safe, organised working area
*Support other departments when required
