Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday finish at 12:30pm
We’re looking for a reliable Despatch Packing Assistant to join a busy precision engineering company in Verwood.
This is a practical, hands-on role packing and preparing precision components for customers within the aerospace industry.
Full training will be provided, so previous engineering experience isn’t essential.
What you’ll be doing*Packing components ready for despatch
*Preparing and organising shipments
*Marking and labelling parts
*Checking parts are correctly marked and packed
*Recording and organising stock
*Monitoring packaging and consumable levels
*Keeping the work area clean and organised
*Helping the wider team when needed
What we’re looking for*Good attention to detail
*Reliable and organised
*Comfortable with hands-on work
*Able to follow instructions accurately
*Happy working as part of a team
*Willing to learn
Previous experience in packing, despatch, warehouse, manufacturing or engineering would be useful, but isn’t essential.
