The Role


We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a busy production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
This is a fast-paced role where you will need to work accurately, follow set processes and maintain a consistent level of productivity throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
*Set up and load machinery as required.
*Monitor machines during production and report any issues or faults.
*Feed materials and components into machinery.
*Carry out quality checks on finished products.
*Work quickly and efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
*Follow production instructions and processes accurately.
*Maintain a clean and organised work area.
*Follow all health and safety procedures.
*Work as part of a busy production team.
*Complete basic paperwork and production records where required.
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous machine operating or production experience is desirable.
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*Able to work to targets and deadlines.
*Good attention to detail and quality.
*Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
*Able to follow instructions and established processes.
*Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace procedures.
*Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining a high standard of work.
