Are you an experienced class 2 Driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with great hours and excellent benefits? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Northampton-based business that supplies metal products to customers across the local area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with the potential of a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Salary & Benefits

*£16.00 per hour


*Quarterly bonus scheme


*Monday to Friday working pattern


*Typical hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm/3:30pm


*20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

The Role

*Deliver steel and metal products to local customers using a class 2 vehicle


*Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time


*Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects


*Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly for transport


*Maintain delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required


*Provide a professional and courteous service to customers


*Adhere to all transport, health & safety, and company procedures


Please note: There is very minimal handballing involved with this role.

Requirements

*Valid Category C1 driving licence


*Valid Driver CPC qualification


*Digital Tachograph card


*Up to 6 penalty points accepted


*No major driving endorsements or disqualifications


*Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred


*Good knowledge of the local area


*Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach
