Description
*This role is primarily Java-centric - you will design and build cloud microservices on the platform - with the expectation that you actively apply AI tooling and patterns to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and contribute to our emerging AI-driven product features.
*Develop, test, and implement software solutions to meet business needs.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable applications.
*Maintain and optimise existing systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
*Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
*Ensure code quality through regular reviews and adherence to best practices.
*Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
*Contribute to the planning and execution of technology projects.
*Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them where applicable.
Profile
Must haves:
*Java
*Spring / Spring Boot
*AI Coding tools (Claude, Cursor etc)
*AWS or Azure
* Comfortable reading Python code or notebooks (most AI libraries are Python-first); ability to translate patterns into Java implementations.
Nice to haves:
*Camunda BPM or similar
*K8s
*Angular
*Kafka
