Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary: £26,414 per annum (£13.55 per hour)
Working Pattern: Predominantly office-based
The Role
Reed Business Support are recruiting for a temporary HR Assistant to join a busy People Team and provide essential administrative support during a period of transition.
This role would suit a strong administrator with excellent organisational skills and proven minute-taking experience. Previous HR experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide administration support across the People Team.
*Coordinate recruitment activity, including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates.
*Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including DBS, right to work and reference checks.
*Produce contracts, letters and other HR documentation.
*Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
*Take minutes during formal meetings, including disciplinary, grievance and absence meetings.
*Respond to employee and manager queries via phone, email and shared inboxes.
*Support HR reporting, trackers, projects and employee engagement initiatives.
About You
*Strong administration experience within a busy office environment.
*Excellent minute-taking skills are essential.
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
*Confident communicator with the ability to handle confidential information.
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
*Previous HR administration experience is desirable but not essential.
DBS check required.
