Full job description Removals HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Hampshire
Hours & Salary: 40 Hours p/w at £15.35p/h (contracted) + overtime
Start: ASAP


We’re currently looking to appoint an experienced Removals HGV Class 2 Driver, on behalf of our established Removals & Storage client, based in Hampshire.
What you’ll do:
A typical day will involve packing, wrapping and moving customers furniture and personal effects. Having a Category C driving licence and physical strength is vital for this role.
Responsibilities include:
*Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for local and regional removals
*Pack, load and unload furniture and household items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
*Communicate clearly with customers
*Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
*Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
*Assist with warehouse and yard duties as needed
What you need:
*Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within removals or logistics sectors
*Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
*Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of vehicle maintenance
*Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
*Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
*Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under pressure
