A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith is looking for an Audit Senior to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. As Audit Senior, you’ll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors, while supervising and supporting junior team members along the way.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments across a varied client portfolio
*Supervise and provide on-the-job training to junior audit staff
*Liaise directly with clients to build strong working relationships
*Identify areas of risk and provide recommendations to clients
*Support senior management with technical queries and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist, or equivalent by experience
*Strong technical audit knowledge and up-to-date accounting standards awareness
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
